Even Philip, after so long a time with the master, petitioned: “Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.” ─ “he that hath seen me hath seen the Father.”
Few, realize that Jesus came to reveal the Father: “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him” (John 1:18).
“… neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him” (Matthew_11:27).
“… no man knoweth… who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him” (Luke 10:22).Moreover: “… Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me” (John 6:45).
